That one night in early October when the child willingly went with me on what I called an exciting adventure to dispose of the Jeep’s old radiator

And the sky was dark and the moon was a beautiful yellowish orange crescent. We listened to Chappell Roan and I had that thought that one day, probably in the not-too-distant future, I’ll long for the days when we lived in our house in Austin near the park and my youngest daughter was still young.

  1. That youngest daughter will get older and you will have conversations about world events and boyfriends and other such things. Then she will fall in love and marry and, hopefully, have a daughter. And, that daughter, your granddaughter, will go with you on a dark night with a yellow-orange crescent moon to the Jeep graveyard to drop off an old radiator.

    It’s the cycle of life!
